Master of Arts degree in School Principalship

The School Principalship program prepares students to lead traditional public schools, public school academies, or in the growing area of charter school administration. Generally, students selecting this program have had classroom teaching experience and plan to move to administrative positions. However, others remain in the classroom with a new perspective on how schools operate and choose to lead in other ways.

Completion of this degree qualifies candidates for initial administrative certification in Michigan.

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants holding a four-year baccalaureate or equivalent degree from a college or university of recognized standing and an undergraduate GPA of at least 3.0 may be granted regular admission.
