Master of Arts degree in Educational Technology

This is an applied program full of practical, hands-on knowledge. You’ll learn about the latest classroom technologies and use them in your own studies.

  • 33 credit hours
  • Taught completely online or as a hybrid of online and face-to-face classes
  • Applicable to non-teachers as well, making you the “go to” person for educational technology at your organization.

This program prepares certified Michigan Teachers for the NP endorsement. Please consult your advisor.

Admission Requirements

  • Applicants holding a four-year baccalaureate or equivalent degree from a college or university of recognized standing may be granted regular admission.
  • In addition to the University’s general admission requirements, the student must either hold a valid K-12 teaching certificate or be employed in an educational capacity within their school, school district, community college, or profession.
  • Regular admission into the program requires an undergraduate grade point average of at least 2.7 (on a 4-point scale). Students with a GPA below 2.5 will not be considered for admission for the graduate program in teacher education.
  • A maximum of nine hours of approved master’s level credit may be transferred to this program. Students must earn a B- or better in each graded course within the nine hours taken.
