Professional Counseling
Students in Professional counseling do their field work in an agency and plan to
work in community counseling. The degree prepares you for licensure as a
professional counselor (LPC) in the State of Michigan. Non-teachers wanting a
Michigan School Counselor License must take Professional Counseling plus
additional hours related to school counseling.
