Some credits earned for a Graduate Certificate will transfer into the associated master’s degree – consult your advisor. This does not apply to Graduate Certificate in College Teaching.

Logistics is a vital part of supply chain management and deals with managing the flow of materials. Every sector of our economy - local, global, governmental or profit-based - deals with purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and transportation.

Application Deadlines

New cohorts for the Graduate Certificate in Logistics Management begin Fall Semester and Spring Semester of each year.

  • To start classes Fall Semester (late August) of a given year, the application deadline is June 1st.
  • To start classes in Spring Semester (early January) of a given year, the application deadline is November 1st.

Required Courses I  (12 hours)

  • MKT 555 Market and Sales Forecasting
  • MKT 631 Lean Logistics Operations
  • MKT 632 Integrated Logistics Strategy
  • MKT 633 Risk-based Logistics Networks

Required Courses II  (4 hours)

One specialized course (4 credit hours) such as MBA 699 (4) determined by the MBA Director.
