Located in Goldsboro, North Carolina, about 75 miles from the coast, and 45 miles from the state capital, Seymour Johnson AFB is home of 4th Fighter Wing, 916th Refueling Wing, and most recently RED HORSE (Rapid Engineer Deployable, Heavy Operational Repair Squadron).

CMU has offered quality master’s degrees to military and civilians at Seymour Johnson AFB since 1974. Our center is located upstairs in the Watkins-Das Learning Center, near the base library and education services. Our friendly staff is ready to help you reach your educational goals.

Central Michigan University is licensed by the Board of Governors of the University of North Carolina to conduct for civilians at Kinston, North Carolina, the Master of Arts degree in Education with concentrations in 1) Adult Education and 2) Instructional; Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, North Carolina, the Master of Science in Administration degree program with concentrations in 1) General Administration, 2) Human Resources Administration, 3) Leadership, and 4) Public Administration. Students may obtain a copy of the bond required in North Carolina from their program administrator on site.
